This Privacy Policy applies to all pages and features of MyHCALawsuit.com, including the community forum, story submission forms, email signup, and attorney connect tools.

Information you provide directly:

• Email address when you sign up for platform updates or forum access
• Name, contact information, and story details when you submit a patient story
• Name and contact information when you submit an attorney connect request
• Any information you post in the community forum under your chosen username

Information collected automatically:

• Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited
• Cloudflare security and performance data as part of our CDN and DDoS protection service

We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral advertising networks, or third-party analytics services that profile individual users.

We use information collected on this platform solely for the following purposes:

• To send you the platform updates or forum launch notices you requested
• To publish your story on the platform, if you have explicitly consented to publication
• To connect you with attorneys who have opted into our referral network, if you have requested a connection

• To comply with legal obligations, including valid court orders or subpoenas

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties under any circumstances.

Stories submitted to this platform may contain sensitive personal health information. We treat this category of information with heightened care.

Consent before publication: No patient story is published publicly without your explicit written or electronic consent. You control whether your story appears under your real name, a pseudonym, or anonymously.

Withdrawal of consent: You may request removal of your published story at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will remove the story within 5 business days. Note that information already indexed by search engines may persist in cached results beyond our control.

Use in legal proceedings: If you submit a story and separately agree to participate as a witness or declarant in litigation, your information may be used in that legal context subject to a separate written agreement. No story submitted to this platform is automatically or unilaterally used in litigation without your knowledge and consent.

We do not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Attorneys in our referral network: Only if you have explicitly requested an attorney connection and only the specific contact information needed to facilitate that introduction

Our evidence platform, L-Vault, uses zero-knowledge cryptographic verification for legal document integrity.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle.
